♥ 5:34 PM
I just realised that i should do a proper report about the trip.
22 of us, including 2 teachers and 1 conductor travelled to Bratislava and participated in the III international Festival of Advent and Christmas Music in the Youth Category. In addition,we have participated in a total of 2 concerts over there, the opening and the Gala concert.
We want to thank our amazing conductor, Ms Tham and our 2 wonderful teachers, Ms Lau and Ms Tan for their kind guidance and support. It was their patience and guidance that had allowed us to clinch a silver in the competition.
I want to represent the exco to thank the every single one of the choir members. It is because of everyone's effort that allowed the choir to attain the award. Lets continue to work hard for our upcoming performances and do better for SYF next year.
I also just received the results from SAJChorale about their trip to Prague.
SAJChorale won a Gold medal and emerged as the overall champion of the “Youth Choir Category” as well as a silver medal for the “Adult Folklore Category”.
Lets give them a round of applauds for their spectacular results.
We had so much fun working with them during the concert. Lets hope that we can work with them again next year!
That is all from me. Enjoy the remaining holidays!
